Pamela Schleifer Strauss
was born and educated in New York City and she now resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA with her family. Although
professionally trained as an actress and model, she dedicated her career to her first passion, art.
Since the
early ‘80’s when she first marketed them, Pamela’s artworks have been exhibited in galleries mainly
in NY and NC in the US, and in London, UK. Her work belongs to private collections around the world. One unique art
object was commissioned and given as a wedding gift to Princess Sophie and Prince Edward of England. As another unusual
example, if you look carefully you will notice that Kevin Costner is holding one of Pamela's pink-stemmed wine goblets immediately
before delivering the famous "I believe..." speech to Susan Sarandon in the movie "Bull Durham."
Each piece
of art is designed, handcrafted, and signed individually by Pamela and is presented for sale as one-of-a-kind by her company,
Amadeus Glass Art.
Pamela gladly
receives commission requests and enjoys collaborating with clients to design and create the custom artwork they imagine and
desire.
